About Saplings
Saplings School is a school for children with Autism and Complex Needs. There are currently thirty pupils enrolled at our school. The pupils who attend our school have a primary diagnosis on the Autism. We teach pupils from the age of four to the age of four to eighteen. Since February 2006, six of our students have fully integrated into mainstream school.
A whole School Evaluation ( WSE ) was undertaken by the Dept of Education and Skills in December 2013. The WSE report is available to view on www.education.gov.ie.
Operating with an administrative principal teacher, there are five class teachers, eighteen Special Needs Assistants and one Behaviour Consultant.
